    1. Dollycas s ThoughtsI snapped up this book when is was free on because I knew I would need a Q book for my Alphabet Soup Challenge. The story starts with a letter being written in 1759 as a wife, Hannah, who is sending a trunk of her belongings ahead to her husband in the new world across the ocean Then moves to present time with Miranda Hathaway s story and the members of her quilt guild A mystery arises when one of a member s house is broken into and the only thing she can find wrong is an heirl [...]

    2. Quite refreshing in that it was a cozy without a murder hooray It was perhaps a little odd that the perpetrator of the crimes was exposed early, though Some punctuation usage errors but not terribly intrusive An easy read a small town caper with an interesting insight to historical events.

    3. Fun to readThis was a great, easy read The style of writing is informal yet engaging being first person POV Easy to keep up with the jumps in the story and an exciting first entry for a series Already onto book two Definitely recommend if you like amateur sleuths and capers

    4. Great readfWhat a great new cozy by Mary Devlin Lynch now I m hooked and getting the next book now if you like a great cozy you need to read this one

    5. A fun to read small town mystery full of quirky, eccentric characters and lots of humor Harry the cat, named after Judy s deceased husband Harry, was my favorite character in the story. The book kept me very interested from beginning to end Even though you find out who the thief is before the townspeople do, you still want to keep reading I didn t want the story to end as I really enjoyed the characters and wanted to continue following their lives. The only thing that bothered me about this story [...]

    6. I am a sucker for a good cozy mystery, but I have pretty high standards This lovely books exceeds them all Miranda Hathaway, small town librarian and quilter, is determined to figure out who destroyed an heirloom quilted skirt Things get a bit complicated when she finds herself developing feelings for the only male member of her quilting guild, someone who is also a suspect Like all cozy mysteries, Miranda figures it out in the end, but it is a great ride all the way to the conclusion Every char [...]

    7. A delightful read based in small town USA The first 50 or so pages give us the list of characters and how they fit into the life of the town The library plays a part but the quilt shop is the main gathering spot and central to the story line The mystery part of the book really starts showing up after we know about all the characters The story has a lazy small town pace to it I enjoyed the book I liked the history and ancestry I liked reading about lasting friendships and letting new friends in T [...]

    8. A little history in the mysteryThe book starts out in 1759, with Hannah writing a letter to her husband It then moves to current times and we start meeting the members of the Quilters Guild The story bounces around a bit as we are introduced to the main characters It is not your typical mystery, as we learn who is doing what fairly early on We have to wait to see where they will go with the information I really enjoyed the book and look forward to in this series.

    9. I loved this book Miranda is a librarian with a love of Sherlock Holmes and mystery books She kind a falls into some of the answers and thinks through the rest The idea that people coming here 200 years ago would sew the jewels into there clothes was so cool I look forward to reading of her books.

    10. I received the book for free through Giveaways A super little book I enjoyed it a little mystery, a little detective work, a little romance and some history as well A librarian who enjoys solving a mystery, starts asking questions about a break in where nothing is stolen Who would do that, and why Well, she needs to find out, so the investigation starts.
